Yates Volcano

Located in the Lakes Region, the Yates Volcano looms to 2.187 meters above the sea level, dominating the landscape of the Estuary of Reloncavi.

Calbuco Volcano

Calbuco Volcano rises to 2,003 metres southeast of Lake Llanquihue, overlooking the Los Lagos Region. This active stratovolcano is known for its irregular profile and eruptive history, including its 2015 eruption.

Osorno Volcano

This stratovolcano, located between lake Llanquihue and Todos los Santos, is known for its scenic beauty and its similarity with the Mount Fuji.

Certifications/Safety

Guide
Alec is an American guide with extensive experience leading heli-skiing and ski touring trips in Chile and elsewhere. He is a PSIA-certified ski instructor (Professional Ski Instructors of America) and has professional avalanche training from the American Avalanche Institute.
Their deep knowledge of the terrain, coupled with his passion for skiing off-piste, making it the ideal companion for an experience of heli-ski unforgettable. Alec not only take you to safety, but that will guide you to some of the best lines of your life.

Team Avalanche
In addition, each output of heliskiing in Barraco Lodge is made with the safety equipment in full to avalanches, both to the guides, as well as for each passenger.
All participants must carry:

  •  An avalanche transceiver
  • A shovel
  • A probe
  • An avalanche airbag backpack

In the event that the participants are not provided with this computer, Barraco has 7 complete equipment for guests ' use.
