Helibike Ventisquero

We leave the lodge by helicopter with our guide. The flight to the Ventisquero River, a tributary of the Puelo River, takes approximately 30 minutes. A trail runs for 10 kilometres along the northwestern bank, passing through native forest with coihue, ulmo and arrayán trees. It crosses shallow streams and follows the riverbank, offering views of turquoise waters coloured by sediment from Toro Glacier.

The trail is mostly flat and pleasant. If you wish, we can continue downstream for another 10 kilometres to the banks of the Puelo River. The helicopter will be waiting at the end of the route, where we enjoy a healthy snack.
