Cataraft The Meek

This experience begins in the lodge, where we start heading to the other end of the Lake Tagua Tagua, crossing its waters to board a ferry along to one of our truck and the trailer that transports the cataraft. The crossing of the lake is the first step towards a journey of exploration only, which leads us to venture into the wildest corners of the Manso river.

From the board of the Cold river with the river Tame, we start the navigation aboard the cataraft, descending by a channel of pristine waters, surrounded by native forest and towering mountain ranges. This tour combines the excitement of moving down the river with the tranquility of an environment that seems frozen in time. Throughout the day, open up multiple opportunities for fishing vadando between trees, roots, and natural formations, one of the most unique features of this experience. Walk in-stream with the water up to the waist, surrounded by lush green virgin, is a form deeply immersive live in Patagonia.

While we fish or simply sail, the landscape is constantly changing: quick soft, pools, and deep, tranquil stretches will happen until you reach the Puelo river, where we continue our journey following the course of the water into the Lake Tagua Tagua, closing the circuit.
