Kayak trip

  • Duration: 4/5 hours

  • Difficulty: Easy

This journey starts from the same lodge, paddling rivers, and lakes, little-explored Northern Patagonia. It is an immersive experience smooth and deep, ideal for those who seek nature in a pure state, without physical demands are high, but with high scenic value, and emotional.

There are two possible routes, and the choice of each will depend on the conditions of wind and the lake on the day of departure. Our guides will select the best destination to ensure safety and enjoyment:

  • Lake Victoria

We descend from the lodge by the gentle current of the Puelo river in inflatable kayaks, sailing between forest of lengas, coigües, and larches. The pace is leisurely, ideal for those who want to relax or connect with the wildlife. On the road it is possible to spot birds such as the chucao, huet-huet, or kingfishers, hidden among the vegetation.

When you get to the Lake Victoria, we expected a landscape of calm waters surrounded by mountains and lush vegetation. There we left the kayaks and we walked up to an open meadow where we serve a lunch in the open air. There is time to rest, stretch out on the grass or take a refreshing dip before returning to the lodge in one of our boats of support.

  • Waterfall Veil of the Bride

We rowed from the shore of the lodge by the lake Tagua Tagua, one of the bodies of water most spectacular and little-explored region. During the journey, the landscape offers crystal clear waters, cliffs covered in vegetation and the possibility of spotting a bird in flight.

Our destination is the Waterfall Veil of the Bride, a stunning waterfall that descends from the mountains like a delicate veil over the rock. We approach kayak all the way to your base, and then we landed on a beach hideaway, where we serve a picnic with local products. The return can be done paddling again, or by boat, depending on the mood of the group and the conditions of the day.

Both routes are an invitation to live the Patagonia from the water, with calm, silence and a deep connection with an environment that remains intact and vibrant.
